An Interpretation By Ted
Of The First Book Of Moses Called
GENESIS
1:31 And God saw everything that he had made,
and, behold, it was very good.
2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife,
and were not ashamed.
Note: For they were cloaked with the radiant Grace of God;
but after having eaten the forbidden fruit....
3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened
and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed
fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Note: They awoke to the realization that they had disobeyed
God and were not covered by His radiant Grace.
The aprons were not small cooking sized aprons,
but personal covers to camouflage themselves.
4:9 And the Lord God called unto Adam,
and said unto him, Where art thou?
Note: For Adam and Eve were now fugitives in hiding;
but one can not hide from God who knew where they were.
4:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden
and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
4:11 And He said, Who told thee that thou wast naked?
Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee
that thou shouldest not eat?
Note: The nudity in Genesis has nothing to do with physical nudity;
but rather spiritual nakedness. God had cloaked Adam and Eve
with His Grace as His most perfect creations. When they sinned
against Him, they realized a naked uncovering of that Grace
and a vulnerability to the wrath of God.
They covered themselves with fig leaves not to hide their genitalia, (1)
but to hide themselves from God the Almighty.
However, God so Loved His good creations that He did not destroy them;
but rather, He allowed them to multiply and cover the earth.

(1) Besides their mate and God, who else was there that Adam & Eve
would have been ashamed to have their genitalia seen by?
Voice overlay: Nun from The Blue's Brothers.
